In addition, the WDP server controls switching, management, and monitoring of all devices within the system, creating centralized control of multiple computers, which increases efficiency and reduces the risk of errors.
The system is designed for 24/7 operation and can be implemented with redundant power supplies to ensure continuous uptime. Multiple physical WDP servers can operate in fail‑safe mode and can be deployed across multiple locations. In the event of a hardware failure, the system therefore remains operational.

The WDP server offers centralized creation and management of user profiles, user groups, roles, and access rights. This means that any user can log in and access their sources from any workstation.
